Being a police officer isn’t just a job – it’s a calling and a commitment for the women who serve on the La Vergne Police Department.

For Katie Bush and Jessie McMahon, it’s new and exciting. But Sheree Robertson – who transferred to La Vergne from Millersville – has been on the force for 12 years.

And although the excitement is part of the attraction, the three all say they feel they were called to do this.

“I prayed a lot about what to do,” says McMahon. “I believe this job is something God puts in your heart. It has to be, to be able to do what we do every day.” – READ MORE
