Jane’s book entitled “The Red Wall: A Woman In The RCMP” was one of the first books written by a female RCMP members and outlines the challenges faced by the first women in the RCMP.
After 100 years of the RCMP being a male orientated policing organization, women were finally admitted in 1974 and many women have followed in their footsteps.
Jane’s book provides an insight into the struggle women have had to overcome.
