Female Officer Makes History As Rosenberg’s Assistant Police Chief

Lt. Tracie Williams Dunn has been promoted to assistant police chief by Rosenberg Police Chief Dallis Warren, making her the highest-ranking female officer in the history of the Rosenberg Police Department.

“Tracie will continue to be an integral part of our management team, bringing new perspectives to bear as we build upon our past successes and develop innovative strategies to meet future challenges,” said Warren. “I am excited to work with her in her new role as assistant chief.”

Dunn is a certified Master Peace Officer, and will begin the Law Enforcement Management Institute of Texas’Leadership Command College at Sam Houston State University in November. She holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from the University of Texas at San Antonio, and a master’s of administration in organizational development from the University of the Incarnate Word.  – Read More
