ANDERSON, S.C. —Anderson police chief Jim Stewart says CrimeStoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for information after a female police officer was attacked.

Stewart spoke about the incident during a news conference Thursday morning and said he believes the people arrested near the crime scene on drug charges could know something about the attack.
