OTTAWA — To RCMP Commissioner Bob Paulson, the seemingly endless stream of lawsuits launched by female officers on his force must seem like the drip, drip, drip of water torture.
He will undoubtedly not see these lawsuits as courageous or justifiable, but they most assuredly are.
Not only have these women been victimized, abused, sexually assaulted, bullied and humiliated, they have had to take on the Goliath of the RCMP and its pack of government lawyers, with all legal fees paid for by Canadian taxpayers.
