Erika Gandara became police chief in Guadalupe when her predecessor was decapitated and no one else wanted the job, but the 28-year-old fell victim to a similar fate when she was dragged from her house by armed gunmen, killed and then dumped in the desert.  Check out the photographs and details of the other three brave women police officers.
