A police woman was shot in the face and a hand by a man who cycled off laughing, a court heard.
PC Suzanne Hudson had only been working in frontline policing for a few days and was on her first job with a new partner when she knocked on the door of James Leslie, who has schizophrenia, and was shot.
Leslie shot the 33-year-old with a sawn off shot gun and cycled off, mocking PC Hudson and her colleague PC Richard Whitely who was trying to drag her to safety. – Read More
