Another new book has been released on the topic of the RCMP.  Book was written by RCMP Veteran Janet Marlo and is entitled “No One To Tell: Breaking My Silence On Life In The RCMP.”

The following is the first review of this new book:

“Her job was to enforce the law. Yet, by the end of a 20-year RCMP career, Janet Merlo had become so distrustful of the force — and turned off by its treatment of women — that she told her teenage daughter to never pull over for the police on the highway at night. Instead, she was to drive to the nearest gas station or coffee shop where there could be witnesses around.

It’s one of many searing indictments contained in a book being releasedWednesday by the retired B.C. constable, who is also the lead plaintiff in a proposed class-action lawsuit alleging widespread harassment and gender-based discrimination in the RCMP.” Read more

The book can be ordered from most bookstores or on Amazon.ca
