The community welcomed her with open arms, and by the time she left five years later she had made many lifelong friends.
“The Muttaburra community is the most astounding community and it’s been the most rewarding time of my career working in Muttaburra,” she said.
“It’s shown the true community spirit and how police can be part of the community and work together with the community to achieve a common goal.”
