Police fear terrorists plan to snatch a WPC from the streets and behead her in an Islamic State-style execution video.
The chilling threat emerged after a major security alert on Monday night, sparked by an anonymous phone tip-off claiming a plot to kidnap and kill an officer in Birmingham.
