Women serving as police officers have another segment of society they are role models to – newcomers to Canada.
Four of the 20 female members of the Chatham-Kent Police Service shared their experiences as police officers during an International Women’s Day event held Monday by Adult Language and Learning in Chatham to inspire and celebrate women.
Constables Lynette Hodder, Sheri Keller, Jodie Foster and Staff Sgt. Rose Kucharuk shared that the variety the jobs offers as well as being able to help people is what attracted them to law enforcement. – READ MORE
