JAIPUR: Breaking her silence almost after a year, a 34-year-old woman sub-inspector accused another male sub-inspector of raping her. She is presently working as DCP (West) of the Jaipur police commissionerate and has further alleged that she was drugged, raped and the accused had also clicked her obscene pictures with which he blackmailed her later.
According to the police, the woman in her complaint stated that Mahaveer Singh Bishnoi working as sub-inspector was acquainted with the victim and on February 12, 2013 he took her to a room at an apartment. “She has alleged that she was drugged and raped. Later, the accused asked her to keep mum or her obscene pictures would be made public,” said a senior police officer of the Mahila police station (West) on Wednesday.
Police said the woman has further alleged that she was raped many a times as the accused always threatened her to make her obscene videos public. “After the first rape the man whenever visited Jaipur used to call the woman at a place and raped her,” said an officer while quoting the report filed by the victim sub-inspector. – Read More
