Toronto police Staff Superintendent Kimberley Greenwood is swapping badges this month to become Barrie’s first female police chief.
Barrie Police Services Board chairperson Douglas Jure made the announcement Monday afternoon.
“Our choice was shaped from (her) enormous depth of experience and leadership abilities,” said Jure. “This is the right time for Barrie to have a chief who has the operations and management skills to build innovative, cost-effective solutions.” Read more
